Thank you to everyone that has supported the RMS Relay for Life team by walking the track, working the booth, or by making donations. It was a successful event and your contributions really do help the fight against cancer.

The RMS Community collected over 4,000 cans of food that went to feed needy families during the Holidays!
Richardson Middle School 7th graders Devin and Delaney presented check to Firefighters at Station 4.
Students, teachers, and parents would like to thank Torrance Fire Department Station # 4 for all of their hard work and dedication in serving our neighborhood. In honor of these awes one firefighters, the PTSA is donating $200.00, in their name, to the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation. This California based, non-profit organization is dedicated to preventing burns and fires and providing services to those who have been affected by a burn injury.
AARBF works together with burn survivors to enhance the quality of life for burn survivors….many are children. Alisa Ann Ruch, who at age eight was fatally injured in a backyard barbecue accident in So. California. Alisa's parents bravely used their tragedy to help others with the goal of preventing burn injuries thru education. They realized severe, life-altering burns often occur in seconds, especially in young children. For more information go to www.aarbf.org.
