November 3 Cross Country Meet at PVIS

Congratulations to the 17 awesome RMS running club kids who came out to race in our first cross country meet against over 130 kids from 5 middle schools; PVIS, Chadwick, Miraleste, Ridgecrest and Manhattan Beach!  The meet was on a hot and hilly course in Lunada Bay, with gorgeous ocean views!

The 7th and 8th grade girls and boys; Dylan Tookey, Kirk Provin, Josh Wester, Annabelle Clegg, Kailey Priest, Erica Schweikert, Mike Mantecon, Cruz Segoviano, Aubrey Nakamoto, Nicole Beaudoin and Taylor Beaudoin ran the 2 mile course first, followed by the 6th graders; Will Anderson, Nathan Critchett, Jun Ueda, Brian Arabori, Cameron Lippon and Kevin Johnson on a modified distance, just under 2 miles.

Hooray for our big winner, Nicole Beaudoin who took 1st place in the 7th and 8th grade girl division with a time of 13:42!  Nicole left the meet with a big trophy and an invitation to return next year to challenge the course record at 13:13.

Congratulations to all of our Richardson Runners!  Our very first event and you all did so well.  Not only did you do well, I think you had a great time too! You should be very proud of yourselves!
